Yesterday, Atlas Advertising CEO Ben Wright led an informative webinar on the new Atlas InSite features, including:
1. Adding EMSI workforce data to your area analysis tools
2. How Atlas InSite assists users in finding communities
3. Speed improvements, especially with databases of 1 million+ records
Already the fastest growing GIS system in the economic development profession– in use in 200+ websites, and with 10,000 registered administrative users and contributors – Atlas InSite can now add Greater Rhode Island to its list of customers.
Wright was in Providence a couple of weeks back to help launch and laud the site. EDC Executive Director Marcel A. Valois talked in particular about Atlas InSite and said such a tool will help “level the playing field and help make Rhode Island databases more user friendly.”
Said Wright, “Somebody can look at a piece of property and the demographics around it in Providence and a neighboring community very easily, so they can really evaluate property in the state easily because of that common tool set.”
