As long standing advocates of high performance in the economic development and tourism industries, we believe (we know!) the right team is a huge part of our success. To that end, we want to let you know about some key changes for our company. Changes we're excited about, changes we're confident will allow us to function at the highest level, and changes that will continue to help communities see (and promote) their best selves.
We've begun making strategic adjustments and additions to our leadership team to better serve our clients. Our clients are our lifeblood, and the very reasons we continue to push the envelope in our profession.
"Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." -- JFK
"We don't want managers to manage our change. We want leaders to lead our progress." -- Dean Lindsay
So what's new at Atlas?
Founder Ben Wright will remain a part of the company, but in an advisory capacity as an owner and member of our board of directors.
As we officially announced on September 1, Guillermo Mazier, who has been an integral part of our company for the past eight years, will take on the role of CEO. We’re confident that he will build on the momentum of our agency as we continue to shape digital marketing strategies and tactics for communities all over the world.
With an impressive list of accomplishments on behalf of the nation’s most successful economic development organizations, Lori Melancon joins the team as Vice President of Account Services. In this leadership role, she will oversee account relationships, strategy development, and creative services. Lori’s more than 17 years of experience includes her roles with Louisiana Economic Development, the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, and Peter Mayer Advertising.
Other New Additions
Our account services team is being adjusted to better serve the more strategic and digital direction of our agency. New to the team is Amy Baumberger who is serving as Account Manager. She brings a wealth of account and digital experience from her role at some of Denver’s top agencies including Rabble + Rouser and Cactus Communications. Heather Dubin is also joining us as a Traffic & Project Manager with print production, process, and operations experience from clients like Colorado Department of Public Health and Education and Denver agency Cactus Communications.
We wholeheartedly believe these leadership and team changes will serve our clients and our partners well into the future, and we're confident we have the right people in the right seats. With that comes a unified mission and vision, and hard work every day that impacts places and communities all over the world.
