Office space designed to support employee productivity is all the rage these days, but research suggests some modern innovations—particularly the “open office”—may, in fact, hinder productivity.
Digital marketers are increasingly seeing a greater impact on their internal decision making from data. In a recent survey of 182 B2C, B2B, and agency marketers by management firm Conductor, over 70 percent of respondents said data made more, or much more, of an impact on decision making over the past year.
Agencies and marketing firms worldwide are implementing innovation labs and product incubators more and more, in an effort to satisfy both clients and internal staff. According to emarketer.com, 52% of those with either an innovation lab or a product incubator reported an increase of new business due to the applications, and nearly the same amount of those asked said higher employee retention was directly related to the innovation labs.
